  • Sacramento Dharma Center 3111 Wissemann Dr. Sacramento, CA 95826 United States (map)

Sacramento Buddhist Meditation Group

  • Build a foundation for healthy relationships

  • Learn ways to increase access to empathy

  • Strengthen internal stability and resilience

How consistently are we able to use our communication tools, meditation techniques, or psychological frameworks for well-being, balance and connection in our work and daily lives? Often, such tools are taught or practiced without adequate cultivation of the intention, the heart-quality, that must guide them in order to successfully accomplish their aims.

A fully embodied and integrated experience of empathy – the felt, emotional resonance with experience – is a key that can transform of our use of these many tools, enhance our ability to employ them skillfully, and enrich the quality of our lives.

In this workshop we will learn practices to develop the basis for skillful communication, inner resilience and fulfilling relationships. Through a combination of imagery, movement, guided reflection and interactive exercises, participants will deepen an innate sense of empathy, learn ways to develop this in daily life, and strengthen the ability to stay present in all circumstances. Appropriate for all levels of Nonviolent Communication and meditation students; some experience with either is recommended but not required.
