Deepening Landscapes of Spiritual Practice

  • Online via Insight San Diego (map)

Note: This event is now online due to COVID surge in the San Diego area. All are welcome to join.

The path of practice taught by the Buddha involves a slow and steady cultivation of the heart mind. The benefits of mindfulness and spiritual practice are real, tangible, and can be experienced by anyone who practices with proper guidance.

Yet to experience these benefits directly we need to take time in our life to practice. We must give our minds and hearts the right conditions for the powers of wisdom and concentration to grow, which includes refining our understanding of the teachings and ensuring that we are using the techniques properly.

In this silent, residential weekend meditation retreat, we will nourish our capacities for clear seeing and inner steadiness and deepen the foundations of mindfulness practice by giving careful attention to the body, the breath, feelings, and the mind. Our retreat will include opportunities for personal guidance with your meditation practice, question and answer sessions, Dharma reflections, periods of sitting and walking meditation as well as instruction in Qi Gong Practice. This daylong retreat is appropriate for both beginning meditators and experienced students alike.

Cost: Sliding scale $60-$120 (scholarship info here)
