A Conversation with Oren Jay Sofer and Sharon Salzberg

Sponsored by Sati Center for Buddhist Studies

Inaugural Book Tour Event!

Join authors and Dharma teachers Sharon Salzberg and Oren Jay Sofer for this special online event exploring the relevance of contemplative practice in developing the internal resources to meet the challenges of our times.

Founding Insight meditation teacher and author Sharon Salzberg will be in conversation with Oren about his new book Your Heart Was Made For This: Contemplative Practices to Meet a World in Crisis with Courage, Integrity, and Love.

Together, we’ll explore questions like how can contemplative practice support us to respond to the immense challenges of our times? What is the relationship between personal and social transformation? And how can we broaden our practice beyond meditation?

This event will be recorded and available for listening on AudioDharma.org and for viewing on the Sati Center YouTube channel.
